Notes/Opinion
This film is just absolutely beautiful. Completely gorgeous. The locations, the costumes, the soundtrack... an absolute chef's kiss all around! Not only is the wardrobe super pretty, it's a quite solid portrayal of how people from the early 19th century might have dressed. See? You can do both pretty and historically accurate!
The chemistry between the main cast is tangible, and they are fun to follow around.
Of course, you must pay close attention to the dialogue, because the old-fashioned language can be rather dense and you might have to kinda "translate" what they are saying. Admittedly the plot is not ground-breaking, but the way the movie is shot and presented makes the experience really enjoyable.
Would recommend it, especially if you like romance or fashion history
